About Us

Run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.

Because we own and run classics ourselves, we understand what our customers want. We are:

Paul Smith

Paul has over 30 years’ experience as a vehicle technician and is passionate about classic cars. Outside work he has completed the restoration of a 1963 Spitfire 4 Mk 1, which is a car he has owned since his teens and is much admired at local shows. He also has significant experience with younger and future classics, including cars from the 80s, 90s and 00s and fast Fords.

Richard Sheppard

Richard Sheppard is probably one of the most experienced classic car mechanics in the country. ‘Shep’ fixed a number of traditional British classics when they were still under warranty from new. With extensive experience on vintage and veteran vehicles dating back to the first days of motoring, Shep also worked at an independent Ferrari specialist for a number of years.

Ian B-P

The newbie, Ian B-P, brings his own enthusiasm for classics, early drives were a Standard Super 10, MG Midget and Ford Escort. He has finally graduated to a BMW 325i cabriolet. You may have met him between 2005 and 2016 at a gig near you serving fine Guatemalan coffees on Colonel Grumpy’s Coffee bus. Ian will be focussing on the administrative side, on keyboard or broom. He is keen get into the mucky stuff, but have no fear, will be closely supervised.
